As a variation on our popular cell based  Bible studies and discussions we are changing the format of our cells this term by replacing them with our ACTION night programme.

ACTION night consists of a number of electives on various subjects presented in the CFC hall on a Wednesday night over the course of a term. Typically we will run the course for three weeks then have a straight fellowship night followed by a three week course  and a fellowship night for the terms duration.

A typical ACTION night would begin at 7.30pm with 15mins of Praise and Worship followed by dispersing to electives where a 15-20min presentation of teaching material would take place. 20-30 mins of discussion would follow concluding with prayer then everyone would gather for refreshments and fellowship leaving for home at 9-9.30pm.

• It provides opportunity for interactive learning in a relational environment
• It gives opportunity for a broad range of issues to be examined and discussed. There will be something there for everyone
• It provides opportunity for congregational members who have expertise to impart that to others.
• It gives opportunity for people called in the preaching and teaching ministry to gain experience
• It allows intergenerational learning and fellowship. The home cells tend to gravitate towards a similar age  demographic.
• It allows us to run a purely evangelistic elective specifically designed for seekers and unbelievers.
• With everybody congregating before and afterwards it benefits from the ‘crowd phenomena’ which is always more encouraging particularly for new and young believers
